We are seeking an experienced Procurement Engineer to manage the procurement process for our Energy from Waste project. This role involves sourcing, supplier negotiations, contract management, and ensuring timely delivery of quality materials to the site.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage end-to-end procurement, including tendering, sourcing, and supplier management
- Identify and implement measures to reduce the Total Cost of Ownership (TCO)
- Analyse supplier and subcontractor offers and interpret the most appropriate purchasing goal
- Carry out negotiations with suppliers and coordinate contracts with the Project Manager
- Coordinate logistics and imports with the Head Office Procurement Department
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Procurement experience in Mechanical & Electrical Contracting Projects
- Minimum 5 years of experience
- Knowledge of the UK Market
- Preferably SAP (ERP) experience
