As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for managing and executing mechanical projects from concept to completion, ensuring high-quality deliverables and adherence to project timelines.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Project Management: Lead and manage mechanical engineering projects, including planning, scheduling, and coordinating tasks to ensure timely completion.
  • Design and Development: Utilize SolidWorks to create detailed models, assemblies, and technical drawings for mechanical components and systems.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including manufacturing, to ensure seamless integration of mechanical designs.
  • Prototyping and Testing: Oversee the prototyping, testing, and validation of mechanical designs to ensure they meet performance and safety standards.
  • Documentation: Prepare and maintain comprehensive project documentation, including design specifications, test reports, and user manuals.
  • Quality Assurance: Implement and adhere to quality control processes to ensure the highest standards of mechanical design and manufacturing.
  • Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements and contribute to the development of best practices.

The ideal candidate will have expertise in SolidWorks and a strong understanding of mechanical engineering principles. The salary range for this position is £40-45,000 per annum, commensurate with experience. Based in South Oxfordshire, this role offers a unique opportunity to work on exciting projects and develop your skills in a dynamic environment.
