Job Title: Home Manager

We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Home Manager to join our team at Remedicare. As a Home Manager, you will be responsible for the smooth running of our 40-bedded nursing home, ensuring high standards of care and business efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and manage the home's operations, ensuring compliance with CQC standards and regulations.
  • Develop and implement effective care plans, working closely with residents, families, and healthcare professionals.
  • Manage and motivate a team of care staff, promoting a positive and supportive work environment.
  • Monitor and report on the home's performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes as needed.
  • Collaborate with the care team to ensure seamless delivery of care services, including medication management and resident activities.
Requirements:
  • 2 years' experience as a Home Manager in a nursing home setting.
  • NVQ Level 5 or equivalent qualification, or willingness to work towards.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
  • Clear understanding of CQC standards and regulations, with the ability to implement and maintain compliance.
  • Full UK driving license, with the ability to travel to meetings and training events.
Benefits:
  • Competitive salary range of £52,000 - £55,000 per annum.
  • 33 days' annual leave, plus bank holidays.
  • Pension scheme and company car.
