About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Pastoral Support Tutor to join our team at Windsor Forest College Group. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in supporting the academic and personal development of our adult learners.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead group pastoral and personal development activities tailored to the learners' needs
  • Provide one-to-one tutoring and coaching for pastoral wellbeing, study skills, and academic achievement
  • Offer general information, advice, guidance, and support to students and staff regarding academic performance and financial welfare matters
  • Collaborate with colleagues to provide group sessions, assignment support, and individual tutorials
  • Liaise with teachers and relevant staff to address issues related to retention, achievement, attendance, and behaviour of students in their tutor groups
  • Contribute to students' Individual Learning Plans (ILP) and provide extra support to vulnerable students in collaboration with the Safeguarding and Learning Support teams
