Job Description
We are seeking an experienced MFL teacher to join our team at a vibrant school in Leeds. As a key member of the department, you will be responsible for delivering engaging and effective lessons that develop students' language skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Teach French or Spanish across the curriculum at KS3-4 (KS5 preferred but not required)
- Prepare and deliver lessons that cater to students' diverse needs and abilities
- Develop and implement a progressive MFL curriculum that promotes language learning and cultural appreciation
Requirements:
- Holds a QTS or equivalent teaching qualification with a specialism in Modern Foreign Languages
- Has a strong understanding of current language teaching pedagogy
- Possesses excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Demonstrates a proven track record of successful teaching in a secondary school setting
Salary: £50,000 - £70,000 per annum (dependent on experience)
