We are seeking a passionate and experienced Science Teacher to join our vibrant team at a reputable secondary school in Merton, South London.
The school is dedicated to providing a supportive and inclusive learning environment that fosters academic excellence and personal growth.
- Estimated Salary: £50,000 - £70,000 per annum (dependent on experience)
This role involves delivering engaging and challenging lessons to students at KS3, KS4, and KS5, as well as developing and implementing innovative teaching approaches and resources.
- Plan and deliver lessons aligned with the national curriculum
- Assess and monitor student progress, identifying areas for improvement
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to enhance the school's science curriculum
- Participate in staff meetings and contribute to the development of the science department
We require a qualified Science Teacher with a strong track record of teaching science at KS3, KS4, and KS5.
- Relevant science degree (Biology, Chemistry, Physics, or a related field)
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Proven experience teaching science in a secondary school setting
