Workshop Powered Access Engineer Position Overview

Bennett and Game Recruitment are currently representing a Plant and Tool company that are looking for a skilled Workshop Engineer in Bedford. The ideal candidate will come from a strong electrical engineering background and will ideally have experience with powered access equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Servicing, repairing, and maintaining electrically powered access equipment including cherry pickers and scissor lifts.
  • Performing LOLER inspections on powered access equipment and other plant.
  • Keeping accurate service records up to date.
  • Ensuring adherence to workshop health & safety rules and regulations.
Requirements
  • Desirable experience in a similar role.
  • Strong electrical background in powered access or plant industry.
  • Ability to work well as a team and independently.
  • Good administrative and organisational skills.
  • Commutable distance of Bedford.
Remuneration
  • Salary range of £32,000-£50,000 dependant on experience.
  • 40 hour working week with flexibility on hours.
  • Pension scheme.
  • Free lunch.
