Job Summary

We are seeking a seasoned geotechnical expert with a strong background in project management, technical expertise, and leadership skills to join our team as a Senior Director of Geotechnical Projects.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of delivering high-profile projects, managing teams, and driving business growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage large-scale geotechnical projects, providing technical expertise and guidance to project teams.
  • Develop and implement project plans, ensuring timely delivery and meeting commercial and technical requirements.
  • Manage and motivate junior staff, providing training and mentoring to ensure their growth and development.
  • Mentor and support senior staff, promoting best practices and sharing knowledge to drive business success.
  • Collaborate with clients, stakeholders, and internal teams to deliver exceptional results and meet client expectations.
  • Budget: £80,000 - £110,000 per annum (dependent on experience)

Requirements

  • Master's degree in Civil/Geotechnical Engineering, Engineering Geology, or a related discipline.
  • At least 8 years of experience in geotechnical engineering, with a strong focus on project management and leadership.
  • Proven track record of delivering complex projects, with a strong understanding of geotechnical principles and technologies.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients, stakeholders, and internal teams.
  • Ability to travel frequently, with a valid UK driving license.
