Source Recruit is pleased to offer an exciting opportunity for a Band 7 ACC-accredited Senior Clinical Coder to join a leading healthcare organization in the UK. We are seeking a candidate with at least 3 years of experience coding in an acute NHS Trust, using ICD-10 and OPCS-4 classifications across a broad range of specialties.
Key Responsibilities- Lead the development and implementation of clinical coding standards and guidelines.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure accurate and consistent coding practices.
- Conduct regular audits and quality assurance checks to ensure compliance with coding regulations.
- Minimum 3 years of clinical coding experience within an acute NHS Trust, covering a wide range of specialties, using ICD-10 and OPCS-4.
- ACC accredited.
- Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, medical terminology, and clinical procedures.
- Full-time, on-site position in a dynamic and supportive team environment.
- Competitive Band 7 hourly rate and comprehensive benefits package.
