About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Business Development Manager to join our team at Nationwide Platforms. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for driving business growth and profitability across a cluster of depots within a defined geographic area.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement strategic business plans to achieve company goals and objectives.
  • Lead and manage a team of professionals to deliver exceptional customer service and drive sales growth.
  • Collaborate with the Sales Leadership team to develop and implement pricing strategies that balance sales volumes and margins.
  • Manage depot cluster profitability by identifying areas for improvement and implementing cost-saving initiatives.
  • Ensure the effective use of assets to achieve budgeted operational cash flow.
  • Identify and capitalize on additional revenue streams at depot level.
Requirements
  • Proven track record of business development and leadership experience.
  • Strong sales and operational management skills.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Driven and motivated individual with strong interpersonal skills.
  • Strong data analysis skills with the ability to interpret data and spot trends.
  • Proven experience of influencing at a senior level.
