About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Engineer to join our team at the Settle Creamery in Yorkshire. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our dairy production processes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on equipment and machinery
  • Conduct troubleshooting and fault-finding to identify and resolve issues
  • Collaborate with production teams to minimize downtime and optimize production efficiency
  • Develop and implement maintenance schedules and procedures
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and industry standards
Requirements
  • Time-served or apprentice-trained engineer with experience in mechanical and electrical maintenance
  • Qualified to ONC/NVQ level 3 or equivalent in an engineering discipline
  • Proven experience in fast-paced manufacturing environments
  • Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and instrumentation systems
  • Computer literacy with proficiency in SAP, Microsoft Office, and SCADA systems
