About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) Consultant to lead our water sector EIA delivery across the UK. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for technical oversight and governance for water sector EIA development projects, reporting into the UK environmental assessment capability lead.

The successful candidate will have substantial demonstrable experience (15 years+) in full EIA delivery, including screening, consultation, scoping, and ES delivery, as well as building strong relationships with key stakeholders. You will also have the opportunity to work on a variety of non-EIA projects with significant environmental components.

You will be experienced in and focused on growing and developing environmental teams and mentoring and managing people and project teams. You will have broad EIA technical and legislative knowledge and experience, and most likely in-depth understanding of one or more environmental technical areas, such as geo-environmental, ecology, archaeology, landscape, acoustics, or the coastal/marine environment.
