Teaching Assistant for SEND Role

This role presents an excellent opportunity to join our team and contribute to the educational journey of children and young people with special needs. As a Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting pupils' academic and personal growth, while fostering a positive, caring, and inclusive environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work collaboratively with teachers and other support staff to develop and implement effective support plans
  • Engage and support pupils in their learning journey, promoting academic and personal growth
  • Foster a positive, caring, and inclusive environment, encouraging social interaction and emotional well-being
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A calm, patient, and empathetic nature
  • A full driving licence and access to a vehicle
  • A desire to engage and support children and young people in learning and education
  • Previous experience working in an educational or care setting with children, young people, or vulnerable adults with learning difficulties
