About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled Logistics Coordinator to join our team at Zotefoams. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for ensuring the timely delivery of goods to our customers. Your primary focus will be on managing transport bookings, maximizing load efficiency, and driving logistics improvement opportunities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage transport bookings in a timely and cost-effective manner.
  • Work closely with the customer service team to ensure customers' requirements are fulfilled within agreed operational lead times.
  • Ensure all relevant dispatch and customs paperwork complies with current regulations.
  • Issue picking lists and driver paperwork to dispatch.
  • Build and maintain positive working relationships with customers, transport providers, and internal stakeholders.
  • Encourage and maintain information exchange between the LC and internal departments.
  • Provide regular KPI reporting to track progress against target.

Requirements:
  • 3+ years' experience of working in a logistics/export environment.
  • Minimum A level educated or equivalent.
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft package such as Excel and Word.
  • Knowledge of export documentation is desirable.
  • Experience of working with logistics and transport companies is a plus.
  • A customer focused approach to work whilst being self-motivated and able to meet deadlines.
  • Strong numerical, organisational & communication skills with fluency in English.
  • Team focused, able to work collaboratively and cooperatively with others.
