Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Senior Tax Accountant to join our team at Carousel Consultancy Ltd in Surbiton, Surrey.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide expert advice on corporate and business taxes, including R&D tax credits, EIS and EMI schemes, and sales and reconstructions.
  • Advising individuals and trusts on private client matters, such as estate planning, inheritance tax, capital gains tax, property matters, and pensions.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients through regular liaison and excellent communication skills.
  • Research and support new business opportunities, ensuring accurate record-keeping and timely responses to client queries.

About the Role

This is a challenging yet rewarding role that requires a hands-on approach, technical expertise, and exceptional interpersonal skills. As a Senior Tax Accountant, you will work closely with our team to deliver high-quality services to our clients.

Requirements

  • Relevant accounting qualifications, such as ATT, ACA or ACCA, or QBE.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced accountancy practice, preferably in taxation.
  • Excellent knowledge of corporate and business tax, including trusts, inheritance tax, and capital gains tax.
  • Strong IT skills, with experience using relevant accountancy software.

What We Offer

We offer a competitive salary range of £45,000 to £55,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus a comprehensive benefits package, including pension, health cash plan, 25 days annual leave, onsite parking, and opportunities for growth and development.
