We're seeking a skilled Transportation Professional to join our team at Kier Group. In this role, you'll play a crucial part in ensuring the safe and efficient movement of people, goods, and equipment.

As a Transportation Professional, you'll be responsible for surveying and identifying underground and overhead services on our sites, reducing hazards associated with service strikes through design, and working with the delivery teams in developing safe systems of work during the construction planning phases.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Conducting thorough site surveys before and during active operations to ensure safety
  • Accurately locating, identifying, marking up, and recording underground and overhead services
  • Issuing permits for digging and conducting GS6 assessments for overhead services
  • Collaborating with the operational team to ensure a clear handover of utility information is received
  • Attending on-site emergencies, providing critical support and expert advice on any given situation
