Senior Java Developer / Technical Architect

Landmark Faith Recruiting Solutions Ltd is seeking a highly skilled Senior Java Developer / Technical Architect to join their team. As a key member of the IT team, you will be responsible for leading the development of a core Java application and overseeing strategic changes and upgrades.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the development of the core Java application and oversee strategic changes and upgrades
  • Manage and evaluate the deliverables of the small UK team of developers
  • Liaise with US counterparts around infrastructure and architecture
  • Stand up new clients and manage new functionality into present client implementations

Requirements:

  • Senior full stack Java developer with a DBA level understanding of databases
  • Previous expertise around systems architecture, experience of managing a SaaS solution in Azure, and a level of understanding of C++
  • Proven experience as a full stack developer or similar role
  • Knowledge of multiple back-end languages (e.g. C++, C#, Java) and JavaScript frameworks (e.g. Angular, React, )
  • Familiarity with databases (e.g. Postgres, SQL Server), web servers (e.g. Apache) and UI/UX design
  • Degree in Computer Science, Statistics or relevant field
