We are seeking an experienced Electrical Maintenance Specialist to join our team based in Edmonton. As a Shift Technician - Electrical Maintenance, you will be responsible for carrying out all maintenance activities on the plant, including preventative and reactive maintenance.

About You

As a qualified Electrical Engineer with a Level 3 qualification, you will have a strong focus on health and safety requirements and be responsible for supervising a team of contractors where necessary.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Carrying out maintenance, both preventative and breakdown, on all equipment at site to reduce operational downtime.
  2. Conducting Root Cause Analysis activities (RCA) to identify the cause of failures and actions to prevent future failures increasing plant up time.
  3. Proactively identifying potential faults and improvement opportunities on the plant equipment to prevent future failures or to identify more efficient methods of working.

Requirements

  • Level 3 Qualification in Electrical Engineering.
  • Qualified in 16th, 17th or 18th Edition Writing Regulations (BS7671).
