We are recruiting for an Adult Neurology and Communication Care Professional to join our team at University Hospitals Bristol NHS Foundation Trust.

The ideal candidate will have experience in managing adult inpatients with general medical, neurological, and age-related conditions, as well as expertise in using videofluoroscopy and FEES services.

As a key member of the SLT team, you will work closely with multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality patient care and provide expert advice on swallowing and communication difficulties.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver comprehensive SLT assessments, diagnoses, and treatments for adults with swallow and communication difficulties.
  • Provide expert advice on individually referred inpatients within the pathway.
  • Manage a caseload independently with the support and supervision of clinical leads.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A degree in Speech and Language Therapy or equivalent qualification.
  • Registration with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) and membership of the Royal College of Speech and Language Therapists (RCSLT).
  • Recent evidence of continuing professional development (CPD) in communication and swallowing problems in adults.
Salary and Benefits

The salary for this role is £44,587 - £62,617 per annum, depending on experience.
