Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Nursery 1:1 Teaching Assistant to join our team at EdEx – Education Recruitment. As a key member of our education recruitment team, you will play a vital role in supporting the learning and development of young children in a nursery setting.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide individualized support to children in their first years of education, working closely with class teachers to deliver engaging and effective learning experiences.
- Assist children with Special Educational Needs (SEN) and Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs, creating a safe and inclusive learning environment.
- Collaborate with teaching staff to develop and implement lesson plans, ensuring a positive and supportive learning atmosphere for all children.
- Contribute to the development of a comprehensive education program, aligning with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework.
Requirements
- Experience working within the Early Years sector, with a strong understanding of the EYFS framework.
- A degree-level qualification in a relevant field, such as education, childcare, or a related discipline.
- Strong academic record, with a focus on academic achievement and personal growth.
- Previous experience working with children with SEN/SEMH needs, with a commitment to creating an inclusive and supportive learning environment.
