Job Summary

We are seeking a compassionate and reliable Part-Time Care Professional to join our team. As a Part-Time Care Professional, you will provide companionship and support to our elderly clients in the comfort of their own homes. This role requires excellent communication skills, a friendly demeanor, and the ability to work independently.

Key Responsibilities
  • Offer companionship and conversation to our clients.
  • Stimulate and encourage through various activities such as clothing selection, hobbies, and crafts.
  • Accompany clients to appointments and social events.
Home Help Services
  • Perform light housekeeping tasks including dusting, vacuuming, making beds, changing linens, cleaning bathrooms, kitchens, washing and ironing, taking out rubbish, and caring for houseplants.
  • Organize and tidy cupboards, check food expiry dates, and shop for groceries.
  • Cook a variety of meals from raw ingredients, ensuring good food safety practices.
  • Assist with pet care.
Personal Care
  • Help clients with bathing, dressing, and grooming.
  • Provide continence care.
  • Consider and understand the perspective of individuals with dementia or Alzheimer's disease.
  • Assist with morning and evening routines.
Essential Criteria
  • Ability to listen, communicate clearly, and build relationships with clients and their families.
  • Respect for people with diverse backgrounds and medical conditions.
  • Excellent timekeeping and organizational skills.
  • Good hygiene practices and a smart appearance.
  • This role requires obtaining an Enhanced Disclosure from the relevant body.
  • Class 1 business insurance (if using your own car for business purposes) or reliable transport.
Eligibility Criteria
  • Residency in the UK.
  • Possession of all necessary Right to Work documents.
  • No sponsorship available.
  • All benefits.
  • Prior care experience preferred.

No formal qualifications are required; however, if you have a passion for caring and motivation to help us achieve our ambitions, we welcome your application.

Benefits
  • £12 per hour.
