About the Position

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Infrastructure Design Lead to join our team at JMG Solutions LTD. As a key member of our infrastructure design team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality designs that meet and exceed client expectations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead design project meetings to ensure effective collaboration and communication among team members and stakeholders.
  • Oversee external design teams to ensure that designs are delivered on time and within budget.
  • Liaise with other teams and departments to ensure seamless integration of design information and requirements.
  • Work closely with clients to understand their needs and preferences, and ensure that their expectations are met throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of all design processes and decisions.
  • Stay abreast of changing legislation and codes of practice to ensure compliance and minimize risks.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to drive value engineering and innovation into project designs.
Requirements
  • Civil Engineering degree or equivalent qualification.
  • HNC/HND/degree in Construction Management or Architecture.
  • BSc in Design and Construction Management.
  • Able to work well under pressure and manage a heavy workload.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Good self-motivation and ability to motivate others.
  • Excellent people skills.
  • Able to present ideas effectively and evaluate the ideas of others in meetings.
  • Experience in Temporary work designs.
  • Experience in external public realm design (Hard/Soft landscaping).
