Job Title: Compliance Officer

We are seeking a highly skilled Compliance Officer to join our team at DHL Germany. As a key member of our Aviation department, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the security and compliance of our operations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct enhanced background checks for new employees, including criminal record checks
  • Request and vet references for new employees
  • Ensure the security pass process is completed in a timely manner
  • Deliver high-quality compliance services to support the needs of our colleagues
  • Communicate effectively with colleagues, management, and stakeholders
  • Ensure compliance with Civil Aviation Authority and DfT regulations
Requirements:
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work calmly and professionally in a fast-paced environment
  • Quick thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Previous referencing experience is desirable
  • Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and data protection
  • Aviation-specific administrative experience is desirable
  • IT literacy and familiarity with Excel
  • Exposure to the aviation industry
Security Process:
  • Provide 5 years of address history
  • Provide 5 years of reference history (employment, education, benefit claim, character)
  • Obtain a full airside ID
