We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Registered Nurse/Occupational Therapist to join our Theatres team at University Hospital Wishaw. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated professional to work in a fast-paced environment, delivering high-quality patient care.

Job Description:

  • The Role: We require a Registered Nurse/Occupational Therapist with valid UK NMC registration or HCPC registration to provide assessment, care planning, and delivery of care to patients in the theatre setting.
  • Responsibilities: Assess patient care needs, develop care plans, implement and evaluate care programs, and demonstrate procedures and supervise staff as needed.
  • Working Environment: This role involves working independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team, demonstrating excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Salary and Benefits: Band 5/Permanent/Fully funded by NHS Scotland. Enjoy a minimum of 27 days annual leave increasing with length of service, 8 public holidays, membership in the NHS Pension Scheme, occupational health services, and employee counseling.
