Teaching Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Humanities Teacher to join our team at a Secondary School in the Braintree area.

This is a full-time and permanent post, starting in 2025. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching History, RE & Geography to KS3,4 & 5 students.

The school has a strong reputation for producing excellent Progress 8 results and creating a fun and creative learning environment for students.

Newly Qualified Humanities Teachers (ECT) will benefit from a bespoke ECT induction programme and support from a range of experienced Humanities Teachers.

The ideal candidate will have UK QTS or be in the process of gaining it, with strong academics across the board and the ability to meet the 8 Teaching Standards to a 'Good or Outstanding' level.

Key Responsibilities
  • Teach History, RE & Geography to KS3,4 & 5 students
  • Develop and implement engaging lesson plans
  • Assess and evaluate student progress
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to achieve departmental goals

The salary for this role is £38,766 - £60,092 + TLR, depending on experience. We also offer a range of benefits, including:
