Consumer Voice Specialist Role



We are seeking a skilled Consumer Voice Specialist to join our Consumer Care team at General Mills. This role will be responsible for ensuring that the consumer voice is represented across our organization.



The Consumer Voice Specialist will work closely with internal clients to provide value-added services such as insights-based ideas, strategy assistance, and outreach to existing consumers.



The successful candidate will have a strong ability to analyze contacts received, identify trends related to specific products or problems, and provide critical information to support our global contact centers.



Responsibilities:





  • Building relationships with internal partners, including Marketing, Consumer Insights, FSQ, legal, BX, and PR, to ensure the consumer voice is represented

  • Representing the consumer voice through presentations, storytelling, emails, and meeting connects

  • Communicating new or discontinued products to the Consumer Care team

  • Producing monthly C1st reports for all 9-billion-dollar brands and rotating other brands

  • Providing verbatim for monthly Consumer Voice report

  • Maintaining brand-related content on the knowledge base

  • Participating in regional or functional meetings and agent training



Requirements:





  • 3 years of customer service experience

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, presentation skills, and the ability to flex schedule to meet demands of global business

  • Effectively manages interpersonal relationships, exhibits positive, supportive, and cooperative relationships with others

  • Strong organization skills and detail-oriented

  • Strong analytic skills and ability to use reporting tools including Business Objects

  • Ability to adapt to new technologies and have a working understanding of mainstream social media apps

  • Ability to work positively through conflict situations
