**Job Summary**

JT Recruit is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Materials Testing Technician to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and integrity of our materials.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Operate and maintain semi-automated and automated lab equipment to conduct testing and analysis of materials.
  • Follow established protocols and procedures to ensure accurate and reliable test results.
  • Perform in-process testing to ensure batches meet specifications and quality standards.
  • Troubleshoot processes, procedures, and product issues to identify and resolve problems.
  • Manage and implement preventative and corrective actions to maintain quality and efficiency.
  • Update standard operating procedures and work instructions to reflect changes and improvements.
  • Ensure compliance with all health and safety measures and protocols.
  • Collaborate with other team members to achieve common goals and objectives.

**Essential Requirements:**

  • Proven experience in site testing of asphalt, tarmac, and quarry products.
  • Construction Materials Testing experience with a strong understanding of testing protocols and procedures.
  • CSCS Card and a degree in science or engineering.
  • Previous laboratory or manufacturing experience with a focus on quality control and assurance.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Proficient in using Microsoft packages and other software applications.
  • Valid driving license.
