Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Construction Underwriter to join our team at Carolyn Bowers Insurance Recruitment. As a key appointment in our regional Construction underwriting structure, you will be responsible for underwriting new business spanning a diverse range of products, including but not limited to EL/PL, CAR, Plant and BI.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Underwrite new business across a range of construction liability products
  • Mentor and coach less experienced colleagues, assisting with technical referrals and supporting their development
  • Work closely with a diverse broker panel to deliver comprehensive insurance solutions
  • Contribute to the development of new business opportunities and growth strategies

Requirements:

  • Proven experience working in a specialist construction liability underwriting role
  • Strong relationships with a diverse broker panel
  • Ability to mentor and coach less experienced colleagues
  • Excellent technical knowledge of construction liability products
