Omega, a global leader in the aerospace industry, is seeking a Materials Planning Director to lead the planning and commercial team. The ideal candidate will provide leadership, coaching, and development to the team, ensuring exceptional efficiency and collaboration.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with Operations, Production, MRO, and Engineering to establish true capacity plans based on demands vs resource availability.
  • Strive to enable the team to fully utilize the ERP system to full functionality, developing reporting mechanisms and standardizing across the team/group where possible.
  • Interact with Quality, Materials, Manufacturing, MRO, Shipping, and Assembly to ensure deliveries are met.
  • Analyze inventory levels for purchased and manufactured goods, monitoring and managing material inventories, tracking progress of production, and reviewing factors that affect schedules.

Requirements:

  • Degree-level education in Operations, Supply Chain, or equivalent level of experience.
  • Proven experience in leadership and examples of improving team results and targets.
  • High-level experience working in a planning management role (preferably in aerospace).
  • Strong MS Office and ERP System experience.
