Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic leader to manage a new residential children's home in Birkenhead, providing individualised services tailored to the unique needs of each child. This is an excellent opportunity for a highly motivated and skilled professional to join Brook Street UK as a key member of our team.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in childcare management, with at least 5 years' experience in the sector, including 2 years in a leadership role. They will be responsible for ensuring high-quality service delivery, leading a team of staff to provide professional advice and care, and prioritising and monitoring team work to identify areas for improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the children's home and lead a team of staff to provide exceptional care and service
  • E nsure compliance with regulatory requirements and quality standards, such as those set by Ofsted
  • Recruit, induct, and develop staff; oversee training and continuing professional development to ensure staff are equipped to meet the needs of children in their care
  • Respond to internal and external inspections, audits, complaints, and investigations, demonstrating a commitment to continuous improvement
