Job Summary:

Bramwith Consulting is seeking a highly skilled Procurement Category Manager to lead the CAPEX & MRO category in our Strategic Procurement Hub. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing category strategies, building senior stakeholder relationships, and driving transformational change in procurement processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Category Strategy Development: Create and implement category strategies for key spend areas aligned with business units and group service functions.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Develop senior stakeholder relationships, expanding procurement's involvement and control of non-traditional spend areas.
  • Process Improvement: Use your deep knowledge of sourcing and/or category management processes to drive transformational change and improvement.
  • Insight and Analysis: Present key insights and updates to stakeholders, covering data analysis and market insight to ensure effective planning and decision-making.
  • Supplier Relationship Management: Implement a supplier relationship strategy to achieve agreed KPIs and develop sustainable added value potential.

Requirements:

  • Experience: Significant MRO and/or CAPEX category management experience, with a minimum of 5 years' experience in procurement.
  • Knowledge and Skills: Specialist knowledge and experience in energy, utilities, chemicals, waste management, and packaging recycling is desirable.
  • Leadership and Communication: Ability to turn strategies and decisions into action, with excellent leadership and communication skills.
