Role Overview

Cash Operations Specialist at Travelex is responsible for maintaining currency cash stock, extracting and scheduling customer sales order files, and maximising automation and optimising workflow.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Liaise with internal departments to ensure seamless operations.
  • Provide professional interaction with external customers to include the provision of agreed data.
  • Interact with stock suppliers and forecasting company to resolve issues and differences.
  • Manage physical stock ordering of cash, ensuring timely replenishments according to forecast requirements.
  • Administer and update stock control records and inventories.
  • Escalate and action audit warnings in real-time.
  • Resolve daily queries from Customer Services, Finance, and Retail Operations using system understanding and process implications.
  • Conduct quality checks diligently.

Requirements:

  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Attention to detail with ability to focus on quality.
  • Analytical Thinking and Problem solving skills.
  • Ability to work on Word and Excel.
  • Self-motivated with ability to take on new initiatives.
  • Awareness of risk issues is desirable.
