Exciting Opportunity for VAT Manager / Senior Manager

TPF Recruitment is seeking a highly skilled VAT Manager / Senior Manager to join a leading firm of chartered accountants in Reigate. This prestigious firm provides a range of services to clients across various industries, including assurance, business services, and tax advisory.

The successful candidate will work within a regional team responsible for providing VAT compliance and advisory services. Key responsibilities will include leading specific sectors, gaining exposure to marketing and business development, and overseeing junior staff. The role will report into the VAT Partner and offers opportunities for progression to director and beyond.

We are looking for a candidate with extensive VAT compliance and/or advisory experience, preferably with a strong background in indirect tax. ACA/ACCA or ATT/CTA qualification or equivalent is required. The ideal candidate will have a working knowledge of EU VAT requirements and broad exposure to most areas of UK VAT.

Requirements
  • ACA/ACCA or ATT/CTA qualification or equivalent
  • Strong background in indirect/VAT tax with experience gained within an accountancy practice environment or HMRC
  • Extensive VAT compliance and/or advisory experience
