About the Job:
We are seeking a skilled Clinical Deputy General Manager to join our team at Loveday & Co. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for supporting the General Manager in formulating strategies for service development or changes in service provision. You will provide leadership and support for clinical and care colleagues, act as a champion for members' safety and dignity, and ensure compliance with the clinical governance framework.

Main Responsibilities:
Clinical Leadership and Management: Lead and support clinical and care teams to deliver high-quality services that meet members' individually assessed needs. Develop and implement quality improvement initiatives, collaborating with the General Manager and Director of Care & Compliance to monitor outcomes and adapt strategies. Ensure adherence to regulatory and accreditation standards, conducting regular audits, clinical reviews, and risk assessments. Foster a culture of continuous learning and improvement among staff, recognizing the importance of ongoing education and professional development.

Staff Supervision and Development: Supervise and mentor rehab centre managers, nurses, and care coordinators, promoting a supportive environment that encourages open communication and collaboration. Participate in recruitment, training, and mentorship programs to enhance the skills and competencies of nursing and care staff. Conduct performance evaluations, identifying areas for improvement and creating development plans to address these gaps.

Quality Assurance and Compliance: Oversee the home's adherence to regulatory and accreditation standards, ensuring that health and safety protocols are implemented and maintained. Conduct regular audits and risk assessments, taking corrective actions as needed to maintain high standards of care. Collaborate with the General Manager and Director of Care & Compliance to implement quality improvement initiatives, driving excellence in our care services.
