About the Role
- Key Responsibilities:
- To prioritize the safeguarding of all children, staff, and families that have access to the setting.
- To promote a fun, high-quality environment for all children in our care.
- Ensuring the welfare and learning development requirements of all children are met at all times.
- To confidently and respectfully work in partnership with parents and carers.
- Undertake a shared responsibility for the health and safety of the nursery.
- Ensure all children are clean, loved, and happy at all times.
- Adhere to all policies and procedures set out by the company.
- Be fully aware of all emergency and security procedures relating to the nursery.
- Take pride in the delivery of exciting and age-appropriate activities.
- To confidently carry out planning, observations, and next steps for your key group.
- To ensure mealtimes are a time of pleasant social sharing.
- To fully comply with our confidentiality policy.
- To fully understand and promote the company's ethos and core values.
- To be a key player in ensuring the nursery receives excellent outcomes in internal audits and those of external authorities such as Ofsted.
- To use initiative at all times.
Requirements
- Must be passionate and possess a high standard of physical, emotional, social, and intellectual care for the children attending the setting.
- To have a can-do attitude and be adaptable to the needs of the nursery and company.
- To have a firm and broad understanding of the EYFS statutory requirements and how to implement these.
