We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Product Manager to join our client's team in London for a 6 month contract. This role involves managing high-risk or sensitive products and requires Security Clearance (SC) due to the sensitive nature of the work.

**Role Overview:**

As a Senior Product Manager, you will be responsible for managing complex, high-impact products or a portfolio of products. You will lead all aspects of product development, from strategy and planning to execution and delivery, ensuring that business and user needs are met.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • **Product Leadership:** Oversee the development and delivery of multiple products or a single complex, high-risk, or sensitive product, ensuring alignment with business goals and user needs.
  • **Team Management:** Lead and line manage Associate Product Managers and Product Managers, providing mentorship and career development.
  • **Hiring:** Participate in hiring processes for Associate Product Managers, Product Managers, and contractors, ensuring the right talent is in place to drive success.
  • **Risk Management:** Manage risks associated with high-risk or sensitive products, ensuring compliance with security protocols, particularly those required for SC clearance.
  • **Stakeholder Collaboration:** Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the product strategy is aligned with business objectives.
  • **Product Roadmap:** Define and execute the product roadmap, ensuring it is delivered on time and meets both business and user needs.
  • **Programme Management:** Engage in programme management activities, including risk management, to ensure smooth delivery of high-impact products.

**Required Skills and Experience:**

  • Proven experience managing complex or sensitive products or product portfolios.
  • Expertise in product management methodologies and tools, with experience leading cross-functional teams.
  • Strong experience in line management, including mentoring and developing Product Managers and Associate Product Managers.
  • Involvement in hiring processes and team development, particularly in high-security environments.
  • Familiarity with programme management and risk management for high-risk products.

**Preferred Qualifications:**

  • Experience working in a digital transformation or IT consulting environment.
  • Experience with Agile and Scrum methodologies.
  • Familiarity with security protocols and compliance standards for working on sensitive projects.
