About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and empathetic Academic Support Professional to join our team at Xede Recruitment. As a Learning Support Mentor in the Construction Department, you will play a vital role in empowering students with learning difficulties and disabilities to achieve their full potential.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with teaching staff to provide tailored support to students with additional needs, ensuring they can fully access the curriculum and meet their personalised learning outcomes.
  • Help learners develop independence by providing holistic support beyond the classroom, including during breaks, lunch, trips, and off-campus study programmes.
  • Modify classroom resources to suit individual learning needs, such as enlarging text or simplifying language.
  • Maintain accurate records of student attendance, targets, and progress, adhering to all support guidelines.
