Job Summary

The Payroll Assistant will provide a high-quality, customer-focused payroll service for Hull University Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust. This role is part of a team that strives for continuous improvement and efficiency.

Main Duties

The key responsibilities of this role include:

  • Processing payroll information into the ESR Payroll system, including timesheets, new starters, and third-party deductions.
  • Responding to payroll queries and using judgment to make decisions based on existing processes.
  • Contributing to the continuous improvement of the payroll process.
  • Achieving designated objectives and key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Working effectively as a team member and supporting colleagues to maintain agreed standards.
