The practice serves clients with diverse needs, providing a wide range of services. As an Accounts & Tax Manager, you will acquire and apply technical expertise in accounting, tax, and interpret laws, regulations, and standards to a portfolio of clients.
Key Responsibilities- Manage teams to meet performance expectations and ensure smooth operations.
- Prepare and oversee production of financial statements, including accounts for limited companies, sole traders, and partnerships.
- Finalize statutory and non-statutory accounts according to regulations.
- Prepare tax computations and submit returns to HMRC as required.
- Review and manage accounts and tax returns prepared by junior staff.
- Preferably ACA/ACCA qualified or by equivalent experience.
- 5-10+ years' experience within an accountancy practice.
- Experience preparing financial statements and tax returns.
- Familiarity with QuickBooks, Xero, or Sage would be beneficial.
