Advanced Threat Mitigation Specialist

Pentera is looking for an experienced Advanced Threat Mitigation Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for leading the effort to mitigate advanced threats and improving the overall security posture of our customers.

  • Design and implement advanced threat mitigation strategies using the Pentera platform.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for growth and development.
  • Maintain in-depth knowledge of security trends, threats, and attack techniques to improve the Pentera platform and provide better remediation guidance to customers.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead technical deep-dive sessions with cybersecurity experts, guiding them through improved penetration testing procedures and remediation/defense decisions.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers, providing expert guidance and support.
  • Interface between internal departments (Support, R&D, Sales, Pre-Sales) to improve skills, knowledge, and problem-solving capabilities.
Requirements:
  • At least 3-5 years of penetration testing/red team operations experience or equivalent with a deep understanding of cybersecurity concepts.
  • Ability to explain technical details and requirements to customers with different levels of expertise and responsibilities.
  • Knowledge in troubleshooting, monitoring, and managing TCP/IP networks.
  • Team player, self-sufficient, autodidact, and a friendly attitude.
  • Fluent in English (written and verbal).
  • CISSP, OSCP, or equivalent – an advantage.

Estimated salary: $120,000 - $180,000 per year.
