About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Cybersecurity Specialist to join our team at BT Group. As a key member of our Security Operations team, you will play a critical role in protecting our customers and infrastructure from cyber threats.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor and respond to security incidents in a 24/7 SOC environment
  • Support the delivery of IT and network security procedures and processes
  • Investigate and analyze security log data to identify trends and potential threats
  • Collaborate with customers and Operational Support teams to resolve requests and incidents
  • Provide threat and vulnerability analysis, as well as security advisory services
  • Contribute to the design, deployment, and maintenance of customer networks
  • Participate in the drafting of quality technical and incident reports

Requirements:

  • Experience in 1st line incident detection, hunting, and response
  • Knowledge of attack vectors, tactics, and techniques
  • Industry-recognized qualification from bodies such as COMPTIA or equivalent experience
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively
