Job Title: Control Systems Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Control Systems Engineer to join our team at Capula. As a Control Systems Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing control systems for our clients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop PLC and SCADA system designs and options from customer requirements
  • Program and configure PLC and SCADA systems from developed or given designs
  • Work throughout the software/systems lifecycle, from design through coding to testing, installation, and configuration, and documentation
  • Install and configure/testing work at customer sites
  • Work within project teams to meet customer deadlines
Requirements:
  • Engineering or computer-related qualification (degree/HND) or comparable industrial experience
  • Good client-facing skills and ability to work as part of a combined client/contractor team
  • Experience of producing design documentation and Test Specifications
  • Willingness to travel and work away when required
  • Beckhoff TwinCAT 3 PLC programming - IEC Structured text
  • Familiarity with Unit testing
  • Agile working methodology
  • Version control software (Git)
  • Ability to attain UK Security Clearance
  • Driving licence
Desirable Requirements:
  • 3 years' experience expectation to fulfill requirements of this post
  • Knowledge of project lifecycle
  • PLC system design, coding, testing, and commissioning
  • SCADA system design, configuration, and commissioning
  • Experience of working in the Nuclear Industry
