We are currently working with Edenbrook to recruit a Head of Operational Resilience Framework. The successful candidate will be responsible for defining, refining and implementing an Operational Resilience framework and related policies, with day-to-day oversight of the execution of the Operational Resilience framework, including key senior stakeholder engagement.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • **Develop and Implement Operational Resilience Strategy**: Lead the effective development and consistent implementation of the Operational Resilience Strategy, Framework, and Policy.
  • **Define and Refine Operational Resilience Processes**: Define and refine key Operational Resilience processes, methodologies, and approaches.
  • **Establish Standardised Processes**: Ensure overall consistency and approach across the Operational Resilience function by establishing standardised processes.
  • **Design Governance Structure**: Design, refine and agree design and governance structure for Operational Resilience, maintaining the Target Operating Model.
  • **Engage Stakeholders**: Develop, facilitate and execute a plan to ensure that stakeholders in the 1st line or in support functions are sufficiently engaged.
  • **Align with Business Continuity**: Work with the Head of Business Continuity to ensure alignment of Operational Resilience with business continuity policy, framework and plans.
  • **Develop Resilience Culture**: Facilitate the development of a resilience culture ensuring the Operational Resilience mind-set is embedded within the organisation's culture.
  • **Oversee Operational Resilience Communications**: Oversee key Operational Resilience communications both internally to governance committees and engaging with external parties.

**Ideal Candidate Profile:**

  • **Operational Resilience Experience**: Experience of implementing and maturing an organisation's Operational Resilience.
  • **Regulatory Compliance**: Experience of meeting regulatory requirements for Operational Resilience.
  • **Strategic Leadership**: Previous exposure developing, implementing and leading others on a strategic vision.
  • **Stakeholder Management**: Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills.
  • **Insurance Industry Knowledge**: Insurance experience.
