We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Housekeeping Manager to join our team. This is a fantastic opportunity to lead our housekeeping department and ensure that our homes are always clean, ordered, and maintained to the highest standards.

Job Description

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and developing the housekeeping and laundry service at Loveday. This will include ensuring that the home is clean and always ordered, managing the laundry and linen supply, and working closely with maintenance to rectify any faults and defects in a timely manner.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and develop the housekeeping team to ensure that they are carrying out their daily duties efficiently and effectively.
  • Manage the housekeeping and laundry service to ensure that it is running smoothly and to the highest standards.
  • Ensure that the home is clean and always ordered, with a focus on attention to detail and a commitment to excellence.
  • Manage the linen supply and ensure that suitable stock is always available.
  • Work closely with maintenance to ensure that any faults and defects are rectified in a timely manner.
  • Monitor and walk all member areas daily to ensure that they are clean and tidy.
  • Handle recruitment and team issues where necessary.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in a housekeeping or hospitality management role.
  • Excellent leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team.
  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to excellence.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
