Senior Client Manager Job Opportunity

We are seeking a highly experienced and motivated Senior Client Manager to join our team in Ilford, East London. As a key member of our accounting practice, you will be responsible for overseeing a varied client portfolio, collaborating with the senior leadership team, and playing a key role in assigning client tasks.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversight of the preparation of statutory accounts, management accounts, tax returns, payroll, and VAT.
  • Significant business development experience, with a proven record of accomplishment of developing new and profitable revenue streams.
  • Technically proficient in all areas of accountancy and audit, with an entrepreneurial, can-do attitude to identifying and pursuing new business opportunities.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to lead by example and mentor junior team members.
  • Management of own portfolio with a large associated fee income, including assigning tasks to team members, reviewing accounts, and supporting documents.
Requirements:
  • ACCA/ACA or CA qualified or QBE.
  • Significant supervisory experience, including recruitment, appraisal, and performance management, as well as learning and development.
  • Demonstrable history of career progression in accountancy practice, with knowledge and experience of cloud-based systems and strategy.
