English Teacher Opportunity in Wakefield

We are seeking a qualified English teacher to join our team at a fantastic secondary school in Wakefield. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating engaging and innovative lesson plans, demonstrating effective teaching practices, and strong behaviour management skills.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Plan and deliver high-quality English lessons to KS3 & KS4 students
  • Assess student progress and provide feedback
  • Work collaboratively with the Head of Department and other teachers to achieve school goals
  • Provide individual support to students with special educational needs
Requirements:
  • Qualified English teacher with a strong track record of supporting children in group or 1-1 situations
  • Passionate about making a difference to young people's lives
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
