Salary: £38,000 - £42,000 per annum, with an average uncapped bonus of £5,800 per year.
Job Description:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced MOT Tester to carry out inspections to judge vehicle road worthiness, following Ministry of Transport and DVSA test guidelines. The ideal candidate will be responsible for fitting brakes and exhausts, fitting new tyres, replacing seatbelts, checking vehicle oil levels and filters, replacing cam belts and clutches, cleaning vehicle inspection bays, carrying out vehicle quality control checks, recording vehicle emission test results, and scheduling annual MOT training sessions.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- A full Driving Licence with no more than nine points.
- A team player willing to assist in workshop carrying out light vehicle maintenance, when not performing MOT's.
- A current MOT Testing Licence.
