Job Summary

We are seeking a seasoned Sales Director to lead our commercial efforts in the building materials industry.

As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing strategic plans to manage and grow accounts, retaining clients, and identifying new business opportunities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement strategic plans to manage and grow accounts
  • Retain clients and build strong, trusting relationships
  • Understand client needs and identify new business opportunities
  • Provide superior customer service and ensure client satisfaction
  • Communicate and coordinate with internal teams to deliver solutions
  • Identify opportunities for improvement and propose new tools and processes
  • Support sales teams to improve their performance and reach targets
  • Develop and maintain excellent knowledge and understanding of our business, offerings, competitors, and industry
  • Manage budgets and resources
  • Presentation of strategies and results to the board
Requirements
  • Degree qualified with strong commercial and sales management experience
  • Proven experience in a leadership role within the building materials, construction or windows & door manufacturing industries
  • Exceptional strategic thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Strong financial and commercial acumen and the ability to manage budgets effectively
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of motivating and leading a diverse team
  • A visionary mindset with a clear focus on achieving long-term goals
