We're seeking a skilled Bridge Inspection Manager to join our Transportation team in Birmingham. As a key member of our Engineering team, you'll play a crucial role in developing, delivering, and managing bridge inspection programs in accordance with CS 450 - Inspection of Highway Structures.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Developing and managing progress of principal, general, special, and asbestos management inspection programs.
  • Liaising with the assessment team to confirm defect analysis and investigation outcomes.
  • Providing formal and informal advice to client organizations and third parties on managing defects associated with structures.
  • Reviewing subcontractors' risk assessments and method statements in accordance with company processes and procedures.
  • Collaborating with designers, commercial teams, contractors, and delivery teams to drive efficiencies and cost savings.

To succeed in this role, you'll need a degree or qualification in civil engineering, extensive experience in highway structures inspections, and a current full driving license. You'll also need to demonstrate project ownership and mentoring skills.
