Wood Digital Consulting is seeking a highly skilled Commercial Manager to support one of our UK projects within the System Integration business.

This is a hybrid role that can be based anywhere in the UK, with mobility and travel to customer sites and face-to-face meetings with colleagues expected as required.

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring effective commercial coordination of the project, in accordance with all relevant Company commercial policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Delivery of commercial reporting to the Business Unit
  • Implementation and delivery of key policies and procedures, including the Financial Management Framework and Tender Governance Procedures
  • Adherence to all requirements of the client contract T&Cs, with specific emphasis on reporting and change management in line with the NEC4 client contract

Requirements:

  • Significant experience (8-12 years) in a similar role, with good level (4+ years) of leadership/management experience
  • Experience of NEC contracts, particularly NEC4, desirable
  • Proven experience in contract administration, including change management
  • Awareness of all relevant corporate and project procedures
  • Experience in contract negotiations
  • Experience in claims and dispute resolution (pre and post-litigation experience preferred)
